VONSCH developed thyristor switches, which are used like reactive current compensating units, for its customer.
Opposite to classical contactor, this product has its advantage in switching in zero, switching by small differences between grid and capacitor
voltage and in practically unlimited amount of closures. These characteristics ensure using the thyristor switch for reactive current
compensation by high frequency closures (f.e. spot welder).
