Cookies and privacy policy
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They are used, for example, to keep your session alive while you fill in a form, to remember your sign-in, or to produce anonymous traffic statistics. We never store your name, address, phone number or payment details in a cookie.
How it works on vonsch.sk
Analytics cookies are loaded only after you consent. Until you agree, neither Google Tag Manager nor Google Analytics is loaded - we measure nothing at all. This is not a setting we switch off afterwards: the measurement script is inserted into the page only at the moment you click Accept all in the banner, or enable analytics cookies in Settings.
The site is fully functional without consent. Rejecting analytics cookies closes no section and no feature - inquiries, manual downloads and sign-in all work exactly the same.
We remember your decision for 180 days so that we do not ask on every visit. After that period the banner appears again.
How to change or withdraw your consent
You can withdraw your consent at any time - as easily as you gave it. Open the category settings with the button below (the same Cookie settings link is in the footer of every page), switch analytics cookies off and save your choice. When you withdraw consent we also delete the analytics cookies already present in your browser.
Cookie categories
- Necessary – page session, the record of your cookie decision and sign-in to the members area. The site cannot work without them, so they cannot be switched off and the law does not require consent for them.
- Analytics – Google Analytics 4 deployed via Google Tag Manager. Used for traffic statistics and to see which pages are actually useful. Loaded only with your consent.
We use no marketing or advertising cookies on vonsch.sk and we pass no data to ad networks.

Should Google Analytics set further cookies (for instance after a change on Google's side), they belong to the Analytics category and the same rule applies: without your consent they are not set, and when you withdraw consent we delete them.
Google Analytics 4
We measure traffic with Google Analytics 4 deployed via Google Tag Manager. By default Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses - the IP address is used only transiently to derive approximate location (country, region) and is then discarded, which rules out direct identification. Measurement is disabled in the site administration and we exclude visits from company IP addresses from the statistics.
Third-party content
Most pages embed no third-party content at all - libraries, fonts and scripts are hosted on our own server. There are two exceptions:
- The map on the Contacts page – an embedded OpenStreetMap. It loads only after you click a button - until you do, nothing is sent to the OpenStreetMap server. After the click your IP address is sent to them, just as visiting any website does. The map uses no advertising cookies.
- The video in the Support section – embedded in youtube-nocookie mode, which prevents YouTube from storing tracking cookies unless you start the video yourself.
The Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube icons in the footer are ordinary links - clicking one takes you to that site, but merely displaying our footer sends them nothing. We are not responsible for data processing on external sites; their own policies apply there.
Browser settings
On top of your decision in the cookie banner you can delete or block cookies at any time directly in your browser (in its privacy settings or under "Help"). Please note that blocking necessary cookies may break sign-in or form submission. Browser settings are not a way to give or withdraw consent with us - use Cookie settings above for that.
Personal data
How we process personal data from the inquiry form and from further communication - purposes, legal bases, retention periods, recipients and all your rights, including the right to withdraw consent and to lodge a complaint with the Slovak Data Protection Authority - is set out in a separate document: Privacy policy.
vonsch.sk also has a members area available after registration and sign-in. On registration we process your name, company, job position and e-mail address - solely to manage access and to communicate about documentation. We do not use this data for marketing unless you give separate consent, and we do not pass it to third parties.
