UNIKOMPENZATOR Active Compensators
Characteristics and advantages
High efficiency 98,0 %
Achieved by using modern 5th generation IGBT switching elements, low loss transformer, minimizing self-consumption, as well as using magnetic circuits made of amorphous metals and ferrite-powder materials.
Parallel cooperation of compensators
Multiple compensators can be connected in parallel to provide higher system performance and reliability.
LC filter with adjustable cos φ
The use of a power converter with an LC filter ensures a “zero” proportion of higher harmonic currents. The adjustable cos φ allows a range from 0.95 capacitive to 0.95 inductive (standard setting: cos φ = 1).
Automatic inflation to the network
The controlled rectifier adapts the device to the instantaneous frequency and voltage of the three-phase network, ensuring reliable integration.
Minimum harmonic distortion of current (THDi max. 3%)
The UNIKOMPENZATOR delivers current to the grid with virtually zero harmonic distortion, thereby improving power quality.
Compact unit with fast response
It includes a built-in output contactor that provides shutdown within 10 ms for voltage loss on one phase or for unauthorized conditions in the power grid.
Built-in AC switch
Allows easy and safe disconnection of the device from the network.
Indication of performance and production
Provides accurate information on the current power (kVA) and kVA produced for the selected time period.
Meeting all standards and requirements
It meets the requirements of voltage and current quality, safety standards and EMC requirements, thus ensuring high reliability and safety.
Long equipment lifetime
The lifetime significantly exceeds the payback period of the investment due to the replacement of electrolytic capacitors with foil capacitors and the use of bearingless fans with magnetic suspension.
Safe disconnection
The device incorporates detachable AC side elements with mechanical locking and triple disconnect control, ensuring maximum safety.
Hardware monitoring system
An independent monitoring system monitors the operation, ensures proper disconnection and restart, sending control messages to the master control system (RS).
Warranty extension option
The standard 5-year warranty can be extended on request, increasing the certainty of long-term operation.
Wide communication possibilities
The device supports RS master control via RS 485 with Profibus DP and Modbus RTU communication options, allowing easy integration into existing systems.
Additional equipment
Telemetry for remote access
It allows remote access to the plant control system, increasing the efficiency of plant management and monitoring.
Web visualisation with secure access
Secure online access via Ethernet, GSM or DSL allows easy visualisation of operation and remote control of the device.
Automatic notification of alarms and reports
The device sends alerts of alarm conditions and periodic reports via e-mail, SMS or FTP to ensure timely notification.
Removable graphic display
The handy detachable graphic display allows easy operation and clear display of key information about the device.
