Drive of screw turbine small hydropower plant with backup power of locks DC drives
The device can supply the electricity to the grid even during a minimum flow of water, with high quality of current: (cos φ = -1, the current THD 5%). The device is equipped with an emergency electro-hydraulic. The generator is connected to the screw turbine via a gear. The level of the water is detected by an ultrasonic level sensor and locks level are automatically controlled by DC drives. DC drives have backup power from a battery that is recharged by FOTO CHARGER DC 48 charger. Automatic control system is provided by the control system. The system evaluates generator bearing temperature, transmission oil temperature, bearing temperature turbine position locks using limit switches, water level of the river. The entire system is monitored remotely via eWON industrial router.
