VONSCH is one of the first Slovak companies to be awarded the status of Motor Challenge Supporter by the European Commission
The Motor Challenge Programme is a European voluntary programme supported by the European Commission to help companies improve the energy efficiency of electric drives.
The role of the supporter is to provide qualified Electric Drives solutions with savings to companies using regulated drives. The greatest scope for achieving electrical energy savings in the use of motors in industry is in pump and fan technology, due to the quadratic torque waveform of the centrifugal pump and fan respectively. Savings of a considerable magnitude are particularly visible in plants where higher engine outputs are required, e.g. circulation pumps, feed pumps, air and smoke fans, etc. Enterprises that should be interested in energy savings by means of motor control are mainly heating plants, waterworks, enterprises with their own corporate energy, enterprises with hall air conditioning, respectively. all businesses with more engines and larger outputs.
